very heart-aching these few days coz BB Javier is suffering from blocked nose... first time he rejected feeds & cried non-stop for hours.. i felt very helpless... brought him to the Dr & was prescribed with nose drops. even though with few days of medication, he still appeared slight cranky. hopefully he will recover soon...

the only thing i hate about confinement is having NOT to bathe for the 1 whole month! damn... i really stink like hell with all the perspiration. Other than tat, the confinement food really makes my body heaty coz of all the tonic & i think i'm constipated. -_-"

taking care of Javier really drained me out coz didnt know taking care of baby is so so tiring... initially i was really stressed out coz nearly every night i didnt have a proper sleep. getting up every 2-3hrs to feed Javier & sometimes after feeding he doesnt even wan to slp!! tats the worst thingy!! nevertheless he brought me loads of laughter & his cute expression really makes me forgot every unhappy things. :)

Met the most idiot "gentleman" during my work ytd. Never am i going to attend to him for treatment & even if i do, i'm sure to find a way to disgrace him in front of others...

he was all ready for the light treatment, standing there waiting... i asked him to go in & get ready & he asked wat's that platform for in the cabin. I replied if u need it, use it, if not, u can take it out... he wasn't moving & i just waited there. then he said can u take it out? I was like? WTF?? u asked a expectant woman to bend down & remove the heavy platform for a middle-build, physically fit guy like u?? ur not even physically disabled!! why can't u remove it urself? was damn pissed. i removed it unwillingly & he didn't even said thank u!!! this is the most idiot man i ever seen !!!

Its not tat i do not want to help or wat but can't u assess the situation? if ur ARE physically disabled, elderly old man or a young kid, i DO NOT MIND removing the item out for u. but ur NOT!!!

"God sure bless you with good karma" all i can say... tat apply the same to those who act blur in not giving up seats to elderly & expectant women in the public trains....

Venting out anger !!!

i was damn fed up with the work since last week... almost everyday i got so irritated that i nearly exploded or nearly even cried out... pissed off with certain colleagues & unreasonable patients i attended to... there were so many things i wanted to vent out but i need to find a place to get it done... dun wan to stress my little Javier inside me just becoz of my work-related... i realized i had abandoned my blog since like ages ago & i guess many of my friends have forgotten abt it coz facebook now is such an "IN" thing now...

i understand staffing is always a problem everywhere but its really pissed me off when the management don't even know how to deploy staffs to the desired dept. if i am not pregnant, i dun even mind to work extra harder to get work done. but those few days multi-tasked duties made my expectant body unbearable. my heart & mind really gonna cried out to someone else...

working with some irritating colleagues made me pissed off... does it mean the more senior ur the more u can slack around in the clinic loaded with tonnes of patients? someone from the upper management told us that tea break is only a luxury if provided there is enough staff coverage during ur absence of 15 - 20 min. why have to complain that ur dying soon without the 15 - 20min of tea break? i dun even go for it most of the times when the clinic is light?! say me stupid or wat but when everyone is so damn freaking busy with their work, u have the cheeks to complain to others that we are treating u unfair coz we didnt release u for tea??? WTF?! colleagues who are working evening clinic didnt even have the chance to go & u with no evening clinic insisted on going?! even going for tea break, pls take note of ur time. its 15 - 20 min, NOT 30 min or more than tat!!! pls be considerate!!! dun come back keep apologizing tat "ohh... i forgot tat ur having evening"... & ohh ya... i can't stand the slowness of the work attitude!!!

nowadays patients are also so demanding & unreasonable!!! i happened to pass by & help out with ur treatment & wat i get? a scolding from u? i dun even know wat happen & u scold me for making u an old man to wait in the cold cabin so long. ur a regular follow up, there is a freaking call bell for u to pull if ur not attended by us. i was being kind, happened to pass by & help out with ur treatment! if i know i am going to get scolding from u, i should have just ignore ur call bell & leave u freezing inside! another incident ~ if ur late by a single second, its not my fault to call another patient in for treatment! dun be so unreasonable, keep arguing u should be first to get attend to! damn you! & when u insist me to call tat patient out to let u in first, u disappear from the site?! wasting my time clearing my workloads! i should have just proceed with that patient's treatment. stupid bitch...

enough of all the stupid & unhappiness! can't wait to go for my maternity leave, away from the place of hell. just wan the time spend on the bonding with my BB Javier... a BIG full stop here!. i wanna blog on my Javier next!!!

frankly speaking i had a great 2009... went for my HMDP in Melbourne for 2 mths, got promoted to Senior Staff Nurse, many gathering & fun times with my lovely friends, attended my dearest friend, Sandra Quek's wedding, & most of all, ROM with my beloved blockhead. :)

but lately, loads of unhappy things happened too which i nearly got into depression. i cried twice in front of my same group of friends. felt so useless that i can't control myself, revealing the weakest part of me... i have to keep to myself & be strong becoz he needs me too. i really hope we can get out of this fucking situation soon... & i appreciate all my friends' concerns. sorry & thanks aloads peeps...

Anyway gonna upload pics on my "mini-honeymoon" with my blockhead in Melbourne. Kinda miss Melbourne now coz of the cooling weather. I had been sweating since day one I reached Spore! Also missing Karina, hope she is doing fine over there.. :)

During the comedy festival, I had watched 3 shows together with Karina. & 2 out of 3 were shows on SEX! That was my very first one in my entire life watching a "live" penis show too! I suffered from increased intra-crancial pressure that night after watching it! Been laughing too hard... :p

2 weeks after i came back, it was NSC 20th year anniversary DnD, Theme as Perankan. & it was held at Fullerton Hotel. Though 6 stars, food so-so... Anyway had great fun with my colleagues!

Becos of the H1N1, everyone who attended the DnD, must go through screening. We received a green sticker to indicate we are free of fever. I pasted the sticker on Aston. ;p

Again I was nominated to take part in the best dressed couples competition this year & i got the third prize. :)

Also went to the Dog Show 2009 @ Expo with Phionna. Too bad blockhead not free to come, he miss out seeing aloads cute doggies!!! :(

in less than 12 hours, i'm gonna hug my blockhead for the first time after 2 mths of home away in Melbourne! oh yes! & then i will be home in 1 week time after my mini "honeymoon"! Can't wait! Can't wait! :D

Did my presentation at Skin & Cancer Foundation. Wat a stressful evening but luckily not much people. Think they last minute attended. They were so impressed about the workloads in NSC. Haiz... Singapore working lifestyle is always so packed & busy.

i am terribly homesick now even though i keep myself occupied with dvds, magazines & facebook... haiz... dun feel like staying any longer in Melbourne... its not the place, its me, myself. dun like loneliness... i miss all the nagging & teasing from my family, blockhead & friends. i miss my darling Timmy too... whenever i see doggies here, i start to think of Timmy. miss cuddling him so much. think i cried almost every night. i have to tahan another 16 days before my blockhead comes over to Melbourne. i wish he is here right now!!! :'(

my 1st time seeing the sky totally covered with dark clouds & the showers are so frequent & heavy within the day... weather was freezing cold too! & upon seeing this, i tout it was like the end of the world. lolz...

karina has another 2 sporean friends coming down to melbourne for holidays so being the host, she brought us to a nice Italian restaurant. i find it great & we had an awesome feast!

had a long weekend becoz of labour day today. tout its an international holiday?! well, glad i dun have to work... ;p

went to the Moomba Festival on Sat & Sun with Karina. will upload the pics next time, now too lazy to do it. heehee... another nurse from CGH came over to Richmond Lodge to stay for a mth today. same as me, she is having her hmdp but in both Melbourne & Sydney so she will fly over to Sydney after a mth of attachment here. she is juz staying near to my unit. ;)

feel boring & slpy whole day today. better catch some nap first before i go to the park to relax. like the park here, always get to see the owners bringing their big or small doggies & run freely within the park. i wish i could do tat in spore! ;p

Anyway its the end of 3nd week attachment & i can’t wait to go home coz i really miss my family & him. Was crying away during & after watching the local programme on “finding my family”. Tats when i am really homesick. :’(

Haiz... so to keep myself more occupied, i bought a few dvds to watch. I bought his favourite shows too, red cliff 1 & 2. Havn’t told him yet, tout of giving him a surprise. He won't know till he is here coz he seldom read my blog. I can write bad words about him. ;p He really likes the history of Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms ( 三国志 ). He is very mean to me. Just becoz I know nuts about the history, he dun wan to watch the red cliff with me. -_-“ I have watched the part 1 & its awesome! Doesn’t mean I know nothing about history, I can’t watch the show, right? He had watched the part 1 with his friends but none of his friends accompanied him for the part 2. So I bought the disc for him. I wanna see how his expression reacts but I’m sure he will remain his cool. Haiz, wat a man…

dying from boredom...

2^nd week of attachment at the clinic. Sorry to say tat loud but… I AM REALLY BORED TO DEATH AT WORK!!! Becoz I’m not registered in Australia, I can’t work like a nurse over here in Melbourne. Every day I was like a pest following everyone I could find in the clinic just to get something done to pass my time. I even tried to assist a doctor during the surgery but was told off by a consultant. Well, he meant well becoz he said if I sustain any needle-stick injury, I will not be covered here which is not fair to me. He is actually quite a nice doctor. Haiz… Anyway I really hope my 2 mths attachment end faster & I miss my blockhead so so much. :(

Luckily for me, my landlord introduced me another Singaporean nurse working in Melbourne & she juz stays a few blocks away from my apartment! She is Karina & she had brought me around the city a few times. Very kind & nice of her. ;)

Woke up late today around 11am, lazing around a little before getting up. Stayed indoor the whole day today becoz of the hot weather. It was reported 40+ degrees Celsius. Even Mr Robert & Dr Lim prefer to stay indoors. Can feel the heat near my bedside during noon & when I opened the balcony doors, the hot & strong wind blow into my room. Think my clothing will dry up within 15 min if I hang out now. Muahaha…

My lunch for today… Of coz I did not cook it myself. Just heat up the sauce & pour over the pasta. Tastes not bad… :D

Anyway ytd I went out exploring the town myself. I tried to follow the track with the help of the map to my attachment areas & guess wat?! I spent 45 min WALKING from my apartment to St Vincent’s hospital and another 15 min to Skin & Cancer Foundation. For ur info, I’m following the correct route. It was not as hot as today & I was wearing my black jacket. After I found the places, I decided to walk around until I saw the Melbourne Museum. Decided pop in to discover the history of Melbourne. Not much pics taken though.

1st day in Melbourne

felt so scary & stressed when i reached Melbourne. Asians really no patience, cutting & jumping quenes when at the custom points. its meant for single line but becoz of the wide space, they just simply walked ahead into the quene like no other people's business. was damn pissed so i purposely stood in the middle, spaced out myself, make sure they dun cut into my quene. most of the people who are inconsiderate look like from Malaysians coz of the passports they r holding. haiz...

flight was delayed too & i spent more than 1 hour at the custom check point, in addition to the inconsiderate people who cut the quene. temperature wasn't tat bad around 30+ degree but the cold wind really makes me shivering.

a cab from the airport to my residental apartment costs ard $60. phew, luckily can claim from company. my landlord, Mr Robert is a very nice man. spent almost 2 hrs orientating me around the place. like my apartment too. bought my groceries at the nearby supermarket but forgotten to get a Hi-card. -_-"

i slept till 10+pm, Melbourne time then woke up becoz of the long flight. i didnt really slp well, infact i was like awake thru out the flight. the time here 3 hours ahead of singapore instead of 2 hours. then on the 5th Apr, the time will resume back to 2 hrs. kinda weird...

didn't make it in my first attempt for driving test today. very disappointed & moody now... can't even fix another test day yet coz my company STILL had not confirmed the date for my hmpd which made me even more pissed...

dun like the uncle who tested on me, kept rushing me turn here, turn there until i panicked & made a few mistakes. damn... he was also yawning away during the practical test.

haiz... just hope i can get my license on 2nd attempt. dun wish to waste any more money & time on my driving lessons. need to save up more money for my marriage now...

Had a great time at Kesper's pub but before tat, i was damn pissed off... spending time alone while waiting for meet-up... well, nvr mind abt tat... i was glad that everybody had a great time together. =)

the night before my taka gathering, my blockhead went clubbing with his friends. he really gave me a big shock & till now i was still upset abt the incident. his friends made him drink so much hard liquor tat he got so drunk & fell off from the chair. he got himself hit at the corner of his eye. got a cut & ended in A&E with 3 stitches. his friends rang me up in the middle of the nite around 0230. i was so upset & angry with him. luckily there was nothing serious. supposed to go together for the taka gathering but in the end, i leave him rest at home.

the flyer incident happened a day after my ride with my family, so scary... i wonder how would i response if i'm struck there in the middle of nowhere up there. they should actually activate the special team to rescue the peeps instead of waiting 3 hrs later!!! haiz... anyway can't blame anyone for the technical faults... glad my family enjoyed the ride except my aunt. she got height phobia but i managed to get her in. haha...

The holiday during which the sun is in Sagittarius is Thanksgiving. This is highly appropriate since everyone eats until they're sick and passes out while a bunch of cross-dressers and huge inflatable things wander through the streets of New York, the most Sagittarian town in the universe. The Shriners driving around in the tiny little cars are a very Sagittarian image. Even more so if there's a ridiculously busty woman stuffed into the car as well. A Sagittarius is always a better Madonna than Madonna. Men can pull off sequins, and women can pull off construction helmets. The Sagittarius is incapable of being unhip.

Capricorn

Capricorns are hardworking, reliable, and dull as hell. They are always on the move, headed to their next delusion of grandeur. They are often good at math which explains why they are such pains in the ass. René Descartes was a great mathematician and a crappy philosopher, so he must have been a Capricorn. Stephen Hawking is even more Capricorn because he's all of the above and a pompous S.O.B. to boot. Sure, he's overcome a lot of obstacles etc. etc., but even in perfect health you can't overcome being a Capricorn. Most politicians are Capricorns, which is why our country is always in the hole. It is not surprising that politicians need so much security around them all the time. Capricorns are like a strange cross between a Leo and a Virgo. They think that this makes them both charismatic and logical. In reality, it means that they are tight-assed and nitpicky, and have to keep their egos in the backyard. In the event of nuclear war, only cockroaches and Capricorns would find a way to survive. The rest of us just don't want to live in a world like that. The nation's cockeyed system of toll roads was probably designed by a freakin' Capricorn. They learn how to screw the public over at an early age. Their parents buy them books of law for Christmas so they can underline the loopholes. Capricorns cannot even fathom, much less describe, philosophical concepts because they don't involve equations. Aquarius

The Aquarius loves a party. Anytime, anywhere is their motto. It is not unlikely that an Aquarius will consider a wake a good place to meet chicks. Aquarians tend to be nostalgic about the 1960s because that was the last time they could be naked in public and get away with it. Aquarians love to be naked. It is even better if they are naked and crocked. 97.4% of the Night Train consumed in the past thirty years has been consumed by Aquarians. supposed to be on leave this week & next week but due to staffs shortage, my nursing officer requested me to forgo this week slot. but still i took 1 day leave today to relax myself & pampered myself with facial & hair treatment. SHIOK... :P

finally completed all my training program for driving, so happy!!! but the server at the centre & SSDC webby was down due to the heavy rain today so i still can't fix a date for my practical test yet. hopefully tml the server will be up. :)

recently my frequency of gyming & yoga sessions increased... was surprised abt my sudden change of interest coz i used to be very lazy, dun like exercising. now i go at least 3-4 yoga classes & 2 gym sessions per week. even window-shopping, i like to patrol around the sport corners. . i am mad over on toning up myself, i guess... coz i really see the mental & physical changes in me recently. i am very happy & pleased abt it. must keep it up!!! :D

not updating for a month, sorry guys... busy with driving, yoga & gym. lately i had been torturing myself physically & mentally... & tml i'm attending my graduation at SIM!!! yeah, finally got my nursing degree cert!!! =DDD

stressed with my driving - always made mistakes & unable to master the skills smoothly. really hope to get it done by this end of yr coz will be flying off to Melbourne beginning of next yr. pissed with myself...

other than my 1-2/week yoga session, recently i took up personal training, 2x/week. it was a monstrous training every times coz my instructor tortures me with all sorts of the workouts!!! aching everywhere but frankly speaking i like it. does make me feel more refreshed & alert after the few sessions. prefers gym than yoga. dun mind renew the contract when it end coz my instructor so cute. heehee... =p

will be dropping by this weekends to see Asher & mummy Esther again. maybe should get a small token for him since i knowledge him as my god son. =)

for few days, no phone calls from him coz he has trainings at Tekong. Sianz, he can't call me & i can't call him. missed him so badly, can't wait to see him again this friday. i'm rotting soon...

Been ages since i last stepped into Science Centre. I think last visit was during my secondary school time which is 10 yr ago?! Waoz... i now then realized i grow old so much... -_-" muahaha...

Esther asked me whether i want to be Asher godmother & of coz i said YES lah!!! now my urge of getting a baby is lesser coz i have Asher to play with! muahaha... =)

Sis Lim's birthday =D

had an early birthday celebration last wed with Sis Lim. she is always a shining star in our hearts & we all really love her so much! =) i arranged a reservation at United Sq's Swensens & even asked some ex-colleagues to join us ~ Sandra & Caroline. Li Jin & Valerine didn't manage to join us but nevertheless we were glad tat Sis Lim enjoyed the arrangements we had for her. only thing was Charlene forgotten to bring along the gift ~ the most impt stuff for the nite! haiz... -_-" luckily i prepared a bouquet of bears & chocolate to give Sis Lim to save the embarrassment. haha...

she was very surprised about the gestures we had arranged for her. Really thanks the staffs for singing the birthday song together with us. Can see her face, flushing away & she was very touched at the end of the day.
